Announcing Dove & Ink Apparel

If you’ve been with me for a while — through all the beautiful words we’ve shared — you know that language has always been at the heart of what I do. The Möbius design itself is a kind of word, isn’t it? A symbol without beginning or end, carrying meaning in its very shape. A geometric symbol to represent the infinite. So it perhaps makes sense that the next thing I’ve been called to create is made entirely of words.
Introducing Dove & Ink
Dove & Ink is a faith-inspired literary clothing line I’ve been quietly building over the past several months. The name came to me whole — the dove for eternal spirit, the promise of hope and the beauty of peace, the ink for the sanctity of, and reverence for, the written word in all its many wondrous forms. Together they carry a kind of promise: that what is written can also be carried close to the body, and our hearts, and thus shared with the world. The tagline is “words worth wearing” — which is a small triple wordplay on Wordsworth the poet, words that are worth something, and the literal act of wearing them. I couldn’t resist.
Each piece draws from poetry, scripture, and literature that has stood the test of time — words of enduring beauty, given new life on fabric. My hope is that donning these pieces feels a little like carrying a well loved passage in your pocket or wearing your favorite inspiring Mobius quotation on your wrist.
In my next blog post, please stay tuned for the story of the Butterfly Poem and an Accordion Style Book, which gave birth to my latest Dove & Ink creations.... And a tribute to the Sandglass.
