The symbol of the cross has hundreds of variants in design, representing some of the history and development of Christianity. Like all Christian crosses, this small cross is a symbol of faith.
This sterling silver cross is represented at its most simple, the Latin Cross or 'crux ordinaria'. This sterling silver cross is vertically inscribed on the reverse: BELIEVE.
To ensure the chain does not detract from the message, the cross design has been pierced to receive it, in a manner suggestive of Scottish designer Charles Rennie Mackintosh. This also allows the chain to be rearranged so that the cross can be worn horizontally or vertically.
