This beautiful phrase from St Paul to the Philippians is engraved in an insular script from the golden age of Irish manuscript art, on a sterling silver cuff bracelet:

Inscribed on exterior: I can do all things through CHRIST who strengtheneth me.
Inscribed on interior: Philippians 4:13.

Most scholarly accounts suggest it was written by St. Paul around 60AD, from a prison cell in Rome. It appears in the King James Bible in his letter to the Philippians. Paul thanks them for their support and reminds them of their duty to one another, and their trust in God’s provision, culminating in this beautiful line which exemplifies the strength their faith provides.
